Our 100% grass-fed, certified organic Aberdeen Angus and Hereford cattle are born and reared in East Devon.
We have both an Aberdeen Angus and a Hereford bull and by crossing the breeds you produce what is commonly known as a “baldy”.
The term is generally used for black Aberdeen Angus cattle that have the white Hereford head, but they can be other colours too.
Grass-fed cattle fatten more slowly, and they are usually a minimum of 24 months old before they go for beef.
We do not routinely use antibiotics, wormers or insecticides. Our animals are cared for individually, and we adopt a holistic approach, focusing on keeping our animals in optimum health at all times, so as to prevent any health issues from occurring.
